WE WANT TO PRINT SHIRTS
AND CHANGE THE WORLD
FORTE
CLOTHING
COMPANY
We get it. We’re not deluded enough to think you really, truly want to know the history of our company. You want shirts. You want a great design on the shirts. You want the shirts to last forever. But if we do that, if we can get you a great design and hit a homerun on your project, maybe, just maybe... you’ll care a little bit about what we’re trying to do here. Or not. Whatever.
Generosity is in our DNA. It’s who we are at our core.
In 2009 I received a message asking me to design a logo and a website for a college kid who wanted to start a clothing line. To me, this was just another gig, another way to feed my family and fill my portfolio. The clothing line was called Forte Clothing Company and it was started by my eventual business partner, Ryan Pech. He said he wanted to sell some rad clothes and give a percentage of the profit to a Mission Base in the Dominican Republic. How could I not love that business model? I immediately jumped on board and became a part of it.
Fast forward to today.
Our team has grown. Ryan has moved on to Law School. Forte Clothing Company is still trying to create stuff, print shirts, and change the world. We started in a garage with a 4 color, 1 position table top press. Since then, we’ve grown into a full scale screen printing company with top-of-the-line equipment in a 3600 sq ft shop in Southern Oregon to better serve our community.
We believe in fairness, generosity, and equality. We believe in paying our employees a Living Wage. We believe in blessing our community with great prices and sometimes even losing money if it means people with special needs prosper. We believe in Drake, Nas, J. Cole, Biggie, and Jay-Z. We believe Tupac and Kendrick Lamar are the greatest rappers ever. We believe in Instagram. We believe in good beer and bomb food from small business owners in food trucks.
We believe that if we’re going to sell you a product, we’re not only going to stand behind it, but we’re going to be the ones creating it ourselves. We are owner operated and are proud to be present in the shop every day grinding hard for our people. It’d be dope if you became our people, too. So hit us up when you’re ready. Our minimums are 24 pieces, let’s make it happen!
